Wednesday's Warrior



Yesterday I was motivated to run 6 miles at a 7:53 a mile. Very ambitious for myself. My problem is when I set out to do something if I get tired I stop running instead of just turning down the speed...ego getting in the way. Therefore I stopped at 30:00 minutes feeling beat by the treadmill, and hopped on the stair climber. The key to keeping myself pumped is my I-pod. I am not talking about listening to Chris Botti, although I do love listening to him. I am talking about up-beat music that only gets me more pumped with each song.
I have a lot of those days where cardio is all I care to do, but sometimes I add in a good 30 minutes of weight training.

The Daily Grind


Just to begin I wanted to tell a little of what this blog is all about. I don't know about you, but for me I am always trying my hardest to get a good workout in and stay controlled on my calories and weight. If you are like me it is hard to resist that desire for a treat once in a while. Even when we are in a strict plan of dieting or have a good schedule for working out sometimes we still feel inadequate and wonder what am I doing wrong!?

This blog is my story about my accomplishments and struggles with weight loss. If anyone wants to add any input on what helped them or if they are having a hard time with anything feel free to comment.
